Are We Body or Soul?

At its core, the importance of aligning holds the key to living in harmony with your truest self and highest purpose. It is the body’s and minds sacred journey of self-discovery and self-love—a return to authenticity, where each step resonates with meaning and life finally begins to make more sense in unity with the soul to feel whole, aligned, and deeply fulfilling.

We are the soul—the conscious life force seated within the body—distinct and eternal, unlike the body, which is but a finely tuned, intricate machine. The soul resides in its form within the body's energies, observing and experiencing life through the sensory instruments of this physical form. Beyond the senses, we navigate the world through subtler currents: the mind, the intelligence, and the ego—all tools of perception, yet, at the end, not the essence of who we truly are.

True spiritual life begins with a simple yet profound understanding; it is the difference between body and soul, between matter and spirit. The body, ever changing—shifting from infancy to childhood, youth to adulthood, adulthood to old age, and eventually to death—is a vessel of impermanence. Yet the soul remains constant and permanent, silently watching this unfolding play from within.

Matter is fleeting; spirit is eternal. And thus, the soul—radiant, conscious, and timeless—is far more essential than the body it inhabits. To grasp this truth is the foundation of real knowledge. By nature, we are beings of joy, bliss, and wisdom, yet we wander through lifetimes attached to forms that hold on to both pleasure and pain. The human body, however, is a rare gift and also in form for our mission—a gateway through which we can awaken, perform spiritual practices, and ultimately free ourselves from the cycle of material existence, returning to our true, eternal nature.
